IDFHG Inc was formed in 1984 to assist local people with family and
local history research. Since then the group has grown and established a
valuable collection containing a variety of local, state, interstate and
overseas research resources, and many family histories.
The Group now has a research centre in Evans Street, Inverell, operated
by volunteers five days each week to assist with enquiries and undertake
research for those unable to visit the centre. The Group also has
several publications available for sale.
