EPHENSTEPHEN

EphenStephen have had a long and fruitful musical association, having performed together for over 10 years. The two Steves, Stephen Thornecroft and Stephen Tafra,  began to play together on a casual basis and gradually developed into a sought after guitar duo. They explore the guitar's versatility and ability to appeal to a wide audience, covering contemporary art and rock music as well as traditional classical guitar repertoire. As arrangers and composers their output has reflected these possibilities making their recital programmes diverse and stimulating. They have performed in venues ranging from pubs and clubs to conservatoriums, universities, art galleries and the Sydney Opera House.
