CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

• A $10 entry fee must accompany the quilt entry

• Any method of construction maybe used with any fabrics and colours you choose. Quilt must be of 3 layers

• If the quilt is not an original design, the design source must be acknowledged with the description and written permission must accompany the quilt.

• The longest side of the finished quilt is to be between 1 metre and 1.2 metres (it could also be a square)

• A hanging sleeve must be attached to the back

• The quilt name and the quilter’s name and address must be attached on a 10 cm label on the lower right hand corner of the quilt.

All completed quilts are to be mailed to

• Judges appointed by the committee will make awards for 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, and Junior (under 18yrs).

• Viewers’ choice award will be presented.

• All quilts will be displayed at THE AUSTRAL BAND HALL, Campbell St. Inverell from 21^st – 30^th April 2006.

• The Entrant will pay forward mail and all quilts will be returned to owners by mail.

• Whilst all due care will be taken, the committee accepts no responsibility for the safety of the challenge entries. If you wish your quilt to be covered by insurance, please arrange your own cover.

• The committee reserves the right to photograph, and permit to be photographed, all items for publicity and publication and other appropriate purposes. (This may include promotional stationary such as cards or bookmarks to be used as fundraisers.)
